Purascape, LLC develops portable, off-grid water treatment equipment for places where traditional water and sanitation services are unavailable or disrupted.
We focus on disaster response, remote communities, and temporary sites where reliable water access is urgently needed. Our approach avoids harsh chemicals, reduces logistical burden, and is designed for rapid deployment and reuse.
Founded in 2024, Purascape draws on prior federally supported research and is currently building its first prototype as part of a staged path toward deployable units and pilot programs.
Clean water access fails when systems are damaged, absent, or unreliable.
Temporary and remote operations often rely on:
Bottled or trucked water that is costly, logistically intensive, and waste-generating
Centralized setups that are slow to deploy and inflexible
Power-dependent systems that fail in off-grid or unstable conditions
Purascape designs modular water treatment systems for rapid deployment in disaster scenarios and locations without permanent solutions.
The WAV-E platform uses a modular treatment architecture designed for reliable field operation.
Biological processes reduce organic waste and pathogens
Physical filtration removes remaining fine particles and contaminants
Chemical-free final treatment and ultraviolet disinfection to meet reuse or discharge requirements
Built on bio-regenerative water treatment technology licensed from NASA
